There are apparently over 80 businesses in the Nashville area that offer website design services. There are approximately 13 companies in the area that offer internet marketing services and a whopping 7 businesses that offer seo ( search engine optimization). One of the primary functions / aspects of seo is website validation. Validating website code so that it passes standardized compliance is a primary goal of seo. If a website is coded to compliance it stands a better chance at ranking higher than a competitor. I could not find a website development, internet marketing and seo company website in the Nashville area that passed W3C coding validation. As a matter of fact, most websites have a significant amount of coding errors on their websites! Coding errors on business websites that are in the business? Hmmmm? After doing this research it was quickly brought to my attention that Rock Intuit has a validation error on the home page. How embarrassing! So we are scrambling to fix it! Remember, websites built with code that validates will always stand a better chance at being ranked higher! It is black and white: better code, better website. So when the time comes for you to update your website, make sure your designer/developer codes to compliance.
